Technology

Overview:

Revolve water filters provide the greatest reduction per contaminant, removing everything from chlorine and heavy metals to agricultural run-off and industrial waste. Laboratory tested and field-proven over ten years, Revolve water filters can transform a questionable water source into clean-tasting, contaminant-free water.

All Revolve portable water filters are extensively tested by only the highest quality, independent state approved laboratories certified to test under strict EPA/ANSI protocols and NSF standards 42 & 53. The materials in the filter are FDA food-grade approved, and the filter itself is manufactured under ISO 9000 standards.

The following technologies makeup Revolve’s utilities for advanced water filtration methods. To view a description of each technology, click the corresponding titles below to open up the window summary:

Absorbant carbon derived from coconuts that effectively removes particles and organics from water supplies. As contaminated water passes through the wall of the filter, absorbant carbon media traps and neutralizes waterborne pollutants. These toxins include chemicals such as disinfectants like chlorine, solvents, PCB’s, PBDE’s, and compounds that cause poor taste and odor. Designed into the filter, PAC filter media is covalently bonded to five additional medias that make up the proprietary reduction matrix in Revolve water filters.

A blend of proprietary medias bonded in a chelative matrix to effectively remove heavy metals, industrial and agricultural pollutants, and trace pharmaceuticals. The Covalent Reduction Matrix configuration coordinates various filtration methods for contaminant reduction, including adsorption, absorption, chemical bonding, chelation, and depth filtration.

Intricate pore network forcing contaminants through a complex path design resulting in the greatest reduction per contaminant.

Micropore Defensetechnology provides up to a 4-Log reduction on microorganisms such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Designed for use with untreated fresh water sources, Micropore Defense provides a mechanical, non-chemical defense against the threat of waterborne illness.

IPM 6-LOG is an iodinated media engineered to effectively reduce waterborne pathogens by 99.9999% (6-LOG Kill Rating), including yeasts, molds, fungi, bacteria, and virus. The IPM 6-LOG is an EPA registered iodinated resin (EPA Reg#: 35917-2).

The R1 Radiological Media is designed to reduce radiological contaminants from fresh water supplies, and is the only NELAC tested and approved media for the 100% removal of Gross Beta Particles, Radon 222, Radium, Plutonium, Uranium, Strontium, Cesium 137, and Radioactive Iodine 131.
